Their whipped mashed potatoes are easily the best I’ve ever had. My favorite place for a filet mignon, their lump crab is delicious. $1.00 raw bar Oysters are the best! So clean and grit free. We could have gone to the Diner for half that cost, and much better food and service! Never again! … more Finally the bill come, $400 for 8 of us to eat cold eggs. We were sitting next to a bathroom where some guy stunk the place up so bad, we were gagging. We were at the bottom of the stairs and the “wind tunnel” coming down the stairs caused our family to wear coats. $30 for eggs, then we had to pay extra for bacon and for home fries!! The first “course” of pastries was a small plate of mixed mini pastries that we could have bought at BJ’s. The food was cold, and although the price was high, it came with no “sides”.
CINDERS WOOD FIRE GRILL FREE
Our waiter spilled an entire tray of mimosas all over our table, okay accidents happen, but maybe offer us a free round for having to have our whole table cleared and remade? They poured us coffee and never brought us cream and sugar, until our coffee was cold. They were understaffed and the staff was inexperienced and non-existent. We went here for Mother’s Day brunch, which was the worst dining experience our family has ever had. You go out on these special occasions to have a stress free experience- which this definitely was not. So, unfortunately we paid way too much for 3 of our party to not even be able eat their entree. The owner/chef then comes out says they were cooked fine and claims he can only remake them, not remove them (never heard of this before), which at that point wasn’t possible for us. Our waiter did not really check on us until we were “done” eating, so by the time we had time to tell him, we just asked they were removed from the bill, as they were inedible.

Then, entrees come out and 3 of the 5 prime ribs are completely raw (not even able to be cut with steak knives). The first courses were fine, but to advertise it as “5 course meal” was kind of a joke, especially for the price. Every table that was sat outside complained it was cold – some tables were “miraculously” found space inside. Once we were outside, only two of their three heaters were working for a huge tent. When we got there, we were told our only option was sitting outside and there was nothing they could do, so without any way of getting something else at last minute, we sat outside. We had someone who needed handicap accessibility, which we told them up front. First, we were sat outdoors, even though we had had specifically requested an indoor table at time of reservation.

We attended today for Mother’s Day lunch. Unfortunately, the owner/chef doesn’t seem to care about his customers.
